About Us
Loom Labs is Dilpreet and Gagan, based in Melbourne Australia. We started this two years ago because we kept seeing the same pattern with AI projects. Companies would get excited about the technology, build something impressive looking, and then struggle when it came time to actually deploy it. The problem was never the models. It was always the data quality, the lack of proper evaluation, and nobody wanting to do the boring work that makes things reliable.
We'd both been in the industry for a while and knew how to build things that actually work in production. Dilpreet has been working with machine learning for over a decade, starting back when CNNs were the new thing and LLMs hadn't been invented yet. He's built computer vision systems, generative models for cartography, and LLM pipelines for production. He also builds iOS apps because he likes making things people can actually use.
Gagan handles the data side. The pipelines, the analytics, making sure the information going into models is clean and the outputs make sense. She's built ETL systems, designed forecasting models, created dashboards that stakeholders actually trust. The data foundations have to be solid or nothing else matters.
We got tired of the typical consulting model where projects drag on forever because there's no incentive to finish. We work on fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timeline. We focus on problems that can genuinely be solved with AI and we make sure what we build actually works.
